Snow Camp Community Action Network launched in early October, as a Non-Profit Organization to raise our collective voices to protect our beautiful community from enviormental threat starting with the Alamance Aggregates Mine. We are incorporated with the State of North Carolina and have received out EIN number. Next step: Obtain our 501 (c) 3 Non-profit status with the IRS.

  • Following the settlement of the No Snow Camp Mine Steering Committee’s litigation, Snow Camp needs a new collective voice in the community that is not restricted by the terms of the settlement agreement. Thus we have decided not to join forces with the Blue Ridge Enviormental Defence League (BREDL) as a new Chapter. This will allow us to be an independent entity that is free to fight any battle we choose to fight on behalf of the community.
  • SnowCamp Community Action Network endeavours to bring our residents together in a way that identifies problems and issues, and fosters the spirit of collaboration to support the health and well-being of our community.

If you need more information or would like to join our mailing list to be advised of our activities and events send and email to: snowcampcan@gmail.com.

We look forward to hearing from you!
